SOAPP Awards

INVISION

The SOAPP^® products have been recognized by two awards from the computer industry: the Award of Excellence and a Gold Medal presented at the 1993 NewMedia INVISION Multimedia Awards. These awards, the first industry-wide competition for multimedia applications, were sponsored by NewMedia magazine and numerous firms in the computer industry, including NEC, Lotus, Macromedia, and Apple. The silver medalist for the category in which the SOAPP products competed was Microsoft Bookshelf^®. Other Award of Excellence winners, conferred upon the "best of show" applications across all categories, included products from Arthur Anderson & Company, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Microsoft Corporation, Yale University School of Medicine, and software developed for NASA.
